Shari’a Governance & Oversight

Amberstone maintains a robust Shari’a governance framework to ensure all investment activities comply with Shari’a principles, supported by independent oversight.

SHARI'A GOVERNANCE:

We have established a robust Shari'a governance framework. Central to this framework is the assigning of an independent Shari'a Committee, responsible for reviewing investments, issuing Shari'a rulings and overseeing Shari'a compliance. To support the effective operation of the framework, we have appointed Shariyah Review Bureau (SRB), to act as a coordinator and managing of the Shari'a governance. SRB does not issue fatwas and does not substitute the role of the Shari'a Committee; rather, it supports the Shari'a Committee by ensuring that Shari'a governance, supervision, Shari’a Committee secretariat, and audit processes are consistently applied, implemented and well-documented.

The three qualified Shari'a scholars assigned to the Shari'a Committee is:

ABOUT SHARIYAH REVIEW BUREAU:

Founded in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the year 2004, SRB has +45 scholars spreading over 20 countries including GCC, Jordan, Malaysia, Pakistan, UK, Germany, and Russia. As a regulated entity by the Central Bank of Bahrain SRB has become a global brand delivering Shari'a certification and Shari'a audit worldwide.

الحوكمة الشرعية:

لقد قمنا بتأسيس إطار حوكمة شرعي قوي داخل المؤسسة، ويتضمن ذلك تعيين لجنة شرعية مستقلة، مسؤولة عن مراجعة الاستثمارات وإصدار القرارات الشرعية والموافقات ذات الصلة، بالإضافة إلى الإشراف على التوافق الشرعي. ولتحقيق هذا الغرض قمنا بتعيين دار المراجعة الشرعية لتولي عملية تنسيق وإدارة نظام الحوكمة الشرعية للشركة. تجدر الإشارة إلى أن الدار لا تصدر الاعتمادات الشرعية والقرارات ذات الصلة بذاتها ولا تحل محل اللجنة الشرعية للقيام بهذا الدور، بل يتمحور دورها على دعم اللجنة الشرعية المعينة من خلال التنسيق وتولي أعمال أمانة اللجنة، ومتابعة الأعمال، لضمان تطبيق إطار الحوكمة الشرعي بشكل مهني وفعال، وإدارة عمليات التدقيق الشرعي وتنفيذها وتوثيقها ورفع تقاريرها إلى اللجنة الشرعية.

انطلقت دار المراجعة الشرعية من المملكة العربية السعودية في عام 2004م وتضم في شبكة مستشاريها الشرعيين أكثر من 45 مستشاراً شرعياً موزعين على 20 دولة، بما في ذلك دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي والأردن وماليزيا وباكستان والمملكة المتحدة وألمانيا وروسيا. تجدر الإشارة إلى أن الدار خاضعة للرقابة من قبل بنك البحرين المركزي، وقد أصبحت علامة تجارية عالمية تقدم خدمات الاستشارات الشرعية في جميع أنحاء العالم.
